Ibis Serenade

A tranquil tableau of 3 WHITE IBIS making their way through a sparkling body of blue water on a misty morning. These large (27 in) majestic wading birds with long decurved red beaks and red legs have some black under their wingtips and belly. (more obvious when flying) They are usually found in groups of 10 or more feeding in the shallow water of swamps and marshes along the southern coast of the U.S. They sing to us in a silent serenade or an occasional grunt.
